We always have good intentions of getting family photos done. We will do it for Christmas, and then when Christmas passes then we say we will get them done in the Spring. There are many reasons to put off getting pictures done of ourselves, especially if we don’t want to see ourselves. I see you though. I have had countless clients hesitant to book because they don’t like the way they look. They think their cheeks are too round right now. They think they’ve gained a little weight. They think they need to dye their hair. They think they need to work out a little more, or find the right dress to hide their self proclaimed flaws.
Guess what? Your family will see none of that. They just want a photo with you in it next to them. You are the person they love- even if you can’t figure out why as you look in the mirror. The first thing people see when they look at a photo is the smile and the eyes of the subject. When those things are bright and genuinely happy to be with the other people in the photo- that is what makes a gorgeous picture. Years are flying by and your children are growing, so get the pictures done. You will not be sorry to look back and see they joy on your face and your children’s faces when you were all having the time of your life hanging out with me and throwing sand at the windmills. See you there!
